Today's Devotional / Topic is Strategy. The definition of Strategy is: a plan of action or policy designed to achieve a major or overall aim. (Synonyms: Master plan, Game Plan, Plan of Action, Plan, Policy, Blueprint, Approach, Tactic, Procedure.) It also relates to the art of planning and directing overall military operations and movements in a war or battle; a plan for military operations and movements during a war or battle. (Synonyms: The art of war, military science, generalship- according to Oxford Language/ Google)

In this brand new month, God is giving us brand new, effective strategies. Everything in God/ that God releases to us is for our good and His Glory (Romans 8:28) It is very essential that we follow GOD'S STRATEGY to us both Spiritually & Physically. What may have worked well in your last season may not work in this new season. Old keys won't unlock new doors. Be open to your times and seasons & understand what times and seasons that you're living in (1st Chronicles 12:32, Ecclesiastes 3:1) Work the tools and strategies that God gives & yields to you. New strategies for a new season.

In 2nd Chronicles Chapter 20 verses 1-30, Jehoshaphat Defeats Moab and Ammon.

We have read this story before corporately in times past, but he didn't defeat them with his own strength and power. He remembered where his help came from (Psalm 121, Psalm 20) He cried out to the LORD. He called out to a Covenant Keeping God- A God that had kept and fought for them before. A God of Strategy. A God of Victory. A God that couldn't and can never be defeated. He had the right people in his ear and in his circle. He received wise and Godly counsel (Proverbs 19:20) He took heed to the WORD of God (Isaiah 55:11) He praised and worshiped. He postured himself accordingly -Spiritually and Physically. That was important because that helped them to win the battle, get the victory, plunder the enemy's camp and receive rest- but that wouldn't have been possible without His first SEEKING THE LORD & RECEIVING GODLY STRATEGY, GOD'S STRATEGY! This story continues on and it ends a different way, but Verses 1-30 are the focal points.

Be open to the Strategy (s) that God is giving and granting unto you in this brand new month, say God, please give me the wisdom & the strategy in this, in this situation- whatever the this is. God, what are you asking me? What are you asking of me? What are you asking me to do? Spiritually, Physically, Financially, Emotionally & Mentally (Soul), Relationally, (Relationships) with your Dreams, Visions, Goals, Business, Job/Career & each and every area of your life. And then, follow GOD'S strategy! Don't miss out on it because you're leaning unto your own understanding. You can get behind God and follow God, because He knows what He's doing! God knows how to lead and guide you. Men may fail you, but God won't. & these can be men (humans, people) that have good intentions, but STICK AND STAY WITH GOD! FOLLOW GOD.

Your DESTINY is important and it matters.

*Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart  and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him,and He will make your paths straight.

*Jeremiah 6:16 a: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.

*Psalm 20: May the Lord answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you. May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion.May he remember all your sacrifices and accept your burnt offerings.May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the Lord grant all your requests.Now this I know: The Lord gives victory to His anointed. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm. Lord, give victory to the king! Answer us when we call!

*Proverbs 16:3: Commit thy works unto the LORD, And thy thoughts shall be established.

*Psalm 37:4: Delight thyself also in the LORD; And he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

*Proverbs 16:9: A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.

In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps.

*1st Samuel 30:8: So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?”And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.
